Community Garden Tractor Donation In 2017, generous partners of this ministry donated funds for the purchase of a small, second-hand Yanmar tractor with rotavator. This tractor is designated for use in the DWM Community Garden because it is more suitable for tilling the vegetable plots than our large Kubota tractor, which the Evans family purchased and shipped to the Philippines in 2007.

C0VID-19 News The Philippines was the first country outside of China to report infected persons, and the first outside of China to have a virus-related death. Although the rate of infection is similar to other third world countries, inadequate medical equipment and expertise produced an early death rate of about 5% (compared to about .01% in the West). With the influx of treatment equipment from other countries, the death rate has tapered off to about 2% (as of mid-2020). The pandemic has stalled most DWM ministry due to government imposed quarantines. Dan has, however, been able to continue making a limited contribution to education.
